Jose has been swinging a hot bat lately, ever since he came back from his injury and has returned to the ways of old. All he needed was a pep talk from Carlos Beltran to get a shot in the arm (hopefully not literally). In that time he has went from slump to superstar once again, hitting .428 for the week and here is the rest of the stat sheet:
.428 avg (12-28)
2 Home Runs
2 Triples
2 Doubles
7 Runs
2 Stolen Bases
His highlight game was on April 15 against the Nationals. he hit 4 hits in that game including one double and one triple.
Getting his first two homers and adding two more base steals proves why he is the player of the week. Congratulations.
